DODI. is a young family business Ad 2024 born from the passion of research and interpretation of new ways to tell a space, both visual and living. Maddalena Castelnovo was born and grew up in both the artistic and working influence of the figure of her mother Laura, an architect and interior designer from Varese; here she breathes not only creativity but also the world of artisans and materials, and so from the very beginning she is fascinated by the manual side of the work, inspired in seeing and witnessing the
"put in place" and understands its meaning: "human hands wisely forge what nature has given us." Corten and iron become a reason for Maddalena to study and develop, thus founding today the DODI. project, which encapsulates the concept of nature, matter and soul.

CASTELNOVO
DODI. It is a project that is the brainchild of Maddalena Castelnovo, a graduate and master's student in architecture at the Milan Polytechnic. Maddalena, born in Milan in 2002, developed from a very young age a keen interest in the world of design and construction thanks to the figure of her mother Laura, an architect and interior designer whose meticulousness in the search for materials and elegance in the development of environments represent from the earliest moments a source of inspiration for her daughter.
The implementation of her mother's projects generates in Maddalena the curiosity to investigate in depth the characteristics of the components she finds in the construction sites and spaces where she works alongside her, hence the desire to focus in particular on the processing of two materials: iron and corten.
Iron, corten and creativity are in effect the foundation of the Dodi project. Encapsulating within each piece the concepts of nature, matter and soul.
